Welcome to the Harrisburg West Shore Chess Club Website. The HWSCC is the longest running chess club in the Greater Harrisburg area. We are a sociable and friendly club where new members of all ages and skills are always welcome!

Where to Find Us

On Monday nights we hold our regularly scheduled tournaments at the West Shore YMCA.

For extra practice, many players meet at the cafe in Borders Bookstore on Thursday nights. These games are just for fun, and everyone is invited.

Kid's Program and Lessons

Kids receive free instruction at the Fredrickson Library's Chess Night in Camp Hill.

Chess Expert Michael Mazock is available for private lessons.
